Hot Dipped Galvanized Razor Wire

Hot-dip galvanized is a common anti-corrosion treatment used primarily to improve the corrosion resistance of razor wire so that it can withstand a variety of harsh environments and last longer. Manufacturing Process:
The process of hot dip galvanized involves dipping clean steel (in this case blades and supporting wires) into molten zinc. This process takes place at a temperature of approximately 450°C where the zinc reacts with the surface of the steel to form a zinc-iron alloy layer. This alloy layer covers the surface of the steel and provides a strong protective layer that not only prevents rust and corrosion, but also resists scratches and mechanical damage.
